The MedProm theme this year was Masquerade and all night I just wanted to scream that song from Phantom - MASQUERADE - nanananananana - Masquerade.. Anyway the prom was awesome. First we met up with some friends and ate dinner at the Columbus Fish Market YUM. Then we headed to the prom downtown. They had Vegas Style fake gambling tables and it was a blast. The best part was the dancing, they were only playing songs that were popular when we were in high school and I have to admit I didn't realize how much I missed Destiny's Child. Ladies leave your man at home cause the club is jumpin, jumpin. At first my girlfriends and I couldn't get our husbands to join us, but once they looked up from their poker hands and realized that some dudes were trying to freak their wives - they were all over it! I was in heaven because we stayed out until 12:30 - thats right people I am an official rebel. I feel really lucky to have great friends who will babysit Lucy for us so we can get a break, and who will also get down dancing to the Thong Song. Yes they actually played the Thong Song, I about died.
Last weekend Emily and Taylor came into town to visit us and I loved having them here. They are so funny and I miss them so much. We had a good time eating, shopping, bowling and hanging out with Lucy. They were here for Valentine's Day and got to see Lucy's cute friend McKade bring her a Valentine and a flower. It was adorable - aren't they a darling couple? Weird that Lucy got a flower on VDAY and her mom didn't... don't you think?

Luce loved playing with her aunt and uncle - the day after they left she would bang on the basement door wanting them to come up and play with her.

They like to kiss a little tooo much - and I know its serious because Lucy let Kade sit in her chair with her for about 3 seconds before freaking out.

I am jealous you got a night night, I dont think we have gone out by ourselves since she was born. My fault mostly, I can't ever freakin leave Burks (i am getting better though).

I've always wanted to go to a masquerade, how fun! I'm glad Tay and Em got to come see you. Him and Denis will be gone before we know it.
Oh Jamie you have no idea. I am a freak when it comes to restoring stuff. I would much rather have a crappy piece of furniture slathered with love and paint than a brand new piece any day. I have a dorky little table that I got at a garage sale for 5 bucks that I painted red and it's now the cutest thing ever.
I will know who to ask when I have questions about my shiz.
