If I have to mop or sweep my kitchen floor one more time I am going to lose the will to live. Lucy has thrown her food on the floor since she was 9 months old and every single meal or snack has her throwing mac & cheese, spaghettio's, rice, vegetables or whatever on the floor, it is literally killing me. I sweep and mop at least 5 times a day and I can't do it anymore. I am a slave to my swiffer. My foot is down. Its a battle of the wills and Lucy is NOT winning this one.
Sigh, yes I'm aware that she probably will win. But if anyone has any suggestions please help me out.

good luck with this one, it only get's worse. If you find a solution let me know:)
I am totally in the same boat. In fact Maisie just (like 1 minute ago) took a fresh piece of bread and crumbled it up and then proceded to throw the crumbs all over my freshly clean floor. I will pay for a solution!
I just cleaned ketchup off my fridge, table, wall...you name it because Ava decided that her chicken nugget wasn't mouth worthy anymore and threw it. Argg!
Good luck and I really do hope someone has luck in this situation!!!
solution: let it pile up nice and thick... and then move. ;P
Ar least you can mop yours. Our table in our appartment is on carpet, so you can just imagine how much food gets smashed in. I have a friend that would lay freezer or bucher paper down under the high chair, and then just throw it away when the day is done!
Tried that! The girl has range! I should probably try again..
Haha you are so funny! Eli has been doing that since about 9 months too and now he is 21 months and still does it....My only advice is get a dog lol!!! That is how I get away with only mopping or sweeping every couple of days.
I just read about this in one of those american baby mags- they said that when your little ones throw food to tell them no, and then get them down right away. They said that it teaches them that when they throw the food instead of eating it- they don't get it anymore! I've never personally been through this phase- but good luck!
Hard Liquor!?
