St George with my Peeps

We tried to have as much fun as possible before Trent started his intern year so we headed down over my birthday weekend to St George. We were lucky enough to have Zac's mom and dad let us crash at their absolutely stunning place in Kayenta. What a beautiful home and what a relaxing place to kick back and have fun. It was so fabulous to spend time with our great friends and even more fabulous to realize that we all lived in the same state again. My birthday present from Trent was watching the kiddies so that Jord, Sar and I could do a shopping day in Vegas. Note to self: remember the time change so you don't wake up early to get to the shops at 9:01 when you think it is 10:01.

Jordan is like 8 months pregnant in this pic and you can't even tell. If I didn't love her so much I would hate her.
The masterpiece of a cake my BFF's made me for the big 28. I cried it was so nice of them and so beautiful.

I mean, who does that?

I love my cake :)

 Birthday slow dance

The birthday party ended with an epic dance party in the Red Rocks
A lot of this happened... oh yeah...

 The boys were REALLY fun

After a couple of hours of rocking it out
Ruby was an angel baby on the trip.

We had too much fun together.. what a great trip.

Hail the Conquering Hero!

Oh hi. No major life event here, Trent graduated from medical school the first week of June and I'm just getting around to talking about it! I am so proud of him and everything he accomplished. I can't even imagine the stress of putting yourself out there every single day trying to be competitive and impress so many different people. You finally get somewhere and then you start your next rotation and start all over again creating relationships and trying not to make yourself look like an idiot. Not to mention all the memorization and pressure of the testing. It exhausts me just thinking about it. Trent rocked at school all while being an absolutely amazing Dad and Husband. I appreciate and love him so much and was so glad to have a couple of days to celebrate his awesomeness. Go Dr. Grizz! We loved Columbus and THE Ohio State University and living there on our own. Ohio will always have a special place in my heart because of the difference it made in our marriage and our little family. Not to mention all of the fantastic people that we met there that we miss terribly. Go Buckeyes. :(

Doug and Ger came to support!

My first shot of Trent after the ceremony. I love the girl's face next to him. Classic.

At Ohio State you can choose to have any MD hood you... It was really special to have Trent's brother Jason come out and do the honors. I love this pic even though its terrible.

A better shot of the brothers.
It was also an amazing day because my brother Matt graduated with Trent and my Dad was able to hood him. Seriously, what a perfect night.
 O-H-I-O! The hooders and hoodies!

 My fam.

 My better half

Couldn't have survived without these two!

Love these boys. Crap I'm getting emotional.
 OSU loves them some Mormons.

Hanging On

Yes... we are alive. For some reason I have never felt so busy in my entire life. Oh wait, nobody warned me that two kids will do that to you. These are all of the things that I have to blog about, but shocker, I don't have time today because my to do list includes... Clean my disgusting bathrooms, pick Lucy up from preschool, Lucy haircut, grocery store so we don't starve, write some copy for the product knowledge manual and hopefully SHOWER. I'm hoping if I make a list I can check some of these off and actually blog about them sometime soon.
