Outside..

Outside is the word that I hear ALL day long. Except for the part of the day that we are actually OUTSIDE. When Lucy wakes up for the day she starts right up with saying it over and over and over. Side, Side, Side, Side. Then the second she is out of her crib she runs to the front door, starts pounding on it and starts it up again. When I make her do anything else including really important things like eating and bathing, she lays on the ground next to the door on her stomach and throws a fit. Actually being able to play outside is so much fun, but I'm terrified because I know its going to get cold again and then I'll really be in for it. Oh P.S. Lucy hit someone at a play group for the first time today - I about died, isn't she a little young for that? WHAT DO I DO? Help!

Other updates from Ohio -

Rockband - is freaking fun. Especially the singing and the drums. Much funner(?) than Guitar Hero, yeah I don't think funner is a word. I think we are like the last people on the planet to figure this out.

Mimi's Cafe - has insanely good muffins. Maybe the best muffins ever. Honey Bran. I mean really wow. No wonder the old people flock to Mimi's.

Jamie - is sad that churchball is over for the year but its probably better that way - it ended badly and included some trash talk, lets just leave it at that.

Trent - is obsessed with Nitro Circus - but lets face it, anything is better than SportsCenter.

Lucy - is all of the sudden a master at blocks - check this killer tower out.

Guess what came to our house this week for free and unordered via Publisher's Clearing House.... A SNUGGIE! First of all let me say on the record that these are not in any way overrated. I have been loving this thing, for those of us who are always cold the Snuggie is the answer. I made Trent take my Snuggie glamour shots in order to make a few people jealous... (of the Snuggie, not my awesome hair) you know who you are. I will never know what I did to deserve a free Snuggie sent to my door, but I will always, always be grateful.

The other highlight of the week was when I walked into my bedroom for a minute, walked out and Lucy was doing this. Just standing there chilling like it was no big deal... I ran to get the camera and she stood there forever! It was so hilarious. Yes, I do have a talented child.. and yes, I do use this blog to make people jealous of my awesome life. :)
