Back to Reality

I am finally back in Columbus and getting used to being on my own again. It's so nice when you wake up every morning with three people fighting over who gets to feed Lucy breakfast. She has changed so much since we left - she walks like crazy, makes 3 animal noises, (elephant, snake and monkey - so random!) says about ten words (although daddy and doggy sound very similar) and is down to one 1 and 1/2 hour nap a day.

Watching her tear around the house all day I am seriously wondering if I will ever shower again. My friend Shannon took some photos of my family over the break and I love them. It's so fun to grow up in a big family because now all my brothers and sisters are my best friends. They are so hilarious and every single one of them have qualities that I wish I had.

My resolution is going pretty well so far - except for the choice words I had for a man in the airport security line but that is another story. Oh shoot, and I already got mad at Trent today. Dang it. Being nice is hard work.

I love that 'daddy' and 'doggy' sound so similar... coincidence? :P

too bad you had to get peeved at the airport... but really, I think that is forgivable. THere's always so much going on, people are tired and stressed, security is often frustrating and cumbersome with a child (of any age, but especially Lucy's age), and it is just really easy to slip. As far as getting mad at Trent, now... well, that's what resolutions are for, eh? :)
